Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the loan processing workflow, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing exceptional service to clients.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial services and the mortgage industry, including familiarity with underwriting processes, Fair Housing regulations, and FNMA guidelines.DutiesReview and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy.Process mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring all documentation is in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Communicate effectively with loan officers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any issues that arise during the processing phase.Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower qualifications and risk levels.Maintain detailed records of all transactions and correspondence related to loan processing.Collaborate with escrow agents to facilitate smooth closings.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and FNMA standards.RequirementsPrevious experience in loan processing or related financial services roles is preferred.Strong knowledge of underwriting processes and credit analysis techniques.Proficiency in 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.Familiarity with escrow procedures and documentation requirements.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.Knowledge of banking practices related to mortgage lending is a plus.If you are passionate about the mortgage industry and possess the necessary skills to excel as a Mortgage Processor, we encourage you to apply.
